One of the best recourse to education yourself are your local or national boat shows. There you can see, feel, and touch, just about everything marine and boating related. Keep in mind that many local boat shows are location specific and  attending manufactures will generally bring to the show for display, the  popular boats for that area, region or waterway.

If you would like to see a larger selection of boat manufactures, consider going to a national boat show. Be aware, these shows can be overwhelming. NBA offers private tours of many boat shows.
